What a clearing house does

In modern trade, a load does not simply cross a border. It moves through a chain of paperwork, appointments, inspections, and hand-offs — and the chain breaks wherever information is late, incomplete, or wrong. A clearing house sits in the middle of that chain.

From our office in Tucson, we work the Arizona–Sonora corridor day in and day out: intake of the shipment, preparation and review of documents, coordination with licensed customs brokers and carriers, tracking through release, and close-out of the file. We do not drive the trucks and we do not replace licensed brokers. We make sure the paperwork is complete, the records are straight, and every party knows what is coming next.

For shippers, importers, exporters, and small manufacturers, that means fewer surprises at the line — and a clear record of what happened, when, and who handled it.

Corridors

Our work concentrates on the lanes where Arizona meets Sonora. These are the corridors we schedule against, document for, and know mile by mile.

TUS–NOG Tucson–Nogales corridor

Our primary working lane via I-19 into Nogales, Sonora. Documentation staging, broker hand-off, and release tracking for southbound and northbound moves.

PHX–TUS Phoenix–Tucson inland

Inland consolidation between Phoenix-area shippers and Tucson staging points, timed so loads reach the corridor complete, documented, and ready.

SON–MAQ Sonora maquiladora lane

Support for manufacturing traffic moving into and out of Sonora plants: coordinated document sets, appointment windows, and status reporting for each leg.

DGL–AGP Douglas–Agua Prieta crossing

Eastern alternative routing through the Agua Prieta–Douglas port, used when timing or destination makes Nogales the wrong door.

How shipments move through the office

Intake

We log the shipment, confirm the parties, and gather the paperwork as it stands. Missing pieces are identified immediately, not at the line.

Documentation

Documents are prepared, checked, and packaged for the licensed customs broker and the carrier — in the order and format they expect.

Coordination

We schedule, track, and relay status between shipper, carrier, and broker through release, flagging exceptions the moment they appear.

Close-out

The file is completed, verified, and archived. You keep a clear, complete record of the move and everyone who touched it.
