Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information Mex Clearing House collects through this website and in ordinary course of business, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. Written plainly, like everything else we produce.

Who we are

Mex Clearing House is a cross-border trade facilitation office located at 11730 N Diamond Cholla Pl, Tucson, AZ 85737, United States. You can reach us by phone at (520) 219-0347 or by email at info@mexclearinghouse.us. For the purposes of this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Mex Clearing House.

Information we collect

We collect as little as possible, and only what is needed to do the work:

  • Contact details When you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, company name, and details about your shipment or trade lane.
  • Shipment information If we work together, we handle the documents and records that make up a shipment file: invoices, packing lists, party details, and milestone logs. This is the core of our service.
  • Basic site data This website is a static site. We do not run advertising trackers or social media pixels. Our hosting provider may record standard server logs such as IP addresses and browser types for security and reliability purposes.

How we use information

We use contact details to respond to inquiries and to coordinate shipments. We use shipment information to prepare documentation, coordinate with licensed brokers and carriers, track milestones, and maintain the records we are engaged to keep. We may use your contact details to follow up on a request you have made. We do not use your information to build marketing profiles, and we do not send unsolicited bulk mailings.

Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information primarily on the basis of your request and consent (when you contact us), the performance of a working arrangement (when we provide services), and our legitimate interest in operating a small business website securely. Where a legal or regulatory record-keeping obligation applies to shipment records, that obligation also serves as a basis for retention.

Cookies

This site uses a minimal approach to cookies and local storage, limited to remembering your consent choice. See our Cookie Policy for the full explanation, including how to withdraw consent.

Sharing with third parties

We share shipment information with the licensed customs brokers, carriers, and other parties involved in your shipment — that is the function of a clearing house, and it is done under the direction of the shipment file. We do not sell personal information. We do not share information with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or by a valid governmental request.

Retention

Shipment files are retained for the period needed for trade record obligations and for our own quality review, after which they are archived or destroyed in an orderly way. Inquiry details that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once the inquiry is closed out, unless you ask us to keep in touch.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mexclearinghouse.us. We will respond within a reasonable period. Please note that certain shipment records may need to be retained for legal or compliance reasons even where other data is deleted.

Children

This website and our services are directed at businesses and trade professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be noted plainly on the page itself.
